seth green is not a vamp he's a hobbit! you'll see what I mean when, after a rousing fireworks display, he suddenly vanishes b4 our eyes on his eleventy-first birthday...
Dear Gaming Journalists,
You are considered by so many of your fans to be incredibly fortunate to have broken into the gaming industry. I imagine most n4g members would like nothing more than to actually get paid to play videogames! Please at least have the common courtesy to present your ideas in a clear, intelligent manner to those who are not as fortunate as yourself.
Love,

agree, terrible writing. however I (mostly) can't fault the lists themselves - those are some of the best experiences gaming has to offer IMO.
ex. of bad writing from this article:
"A game where a main character can die because of your actions is a commendable game."
lolwut?! the main character can 'die' in the VAST majority of videogames!
another ex.:
"Pokemon is anything but complex."
...
now that I think about it I haven't tried any orig xbox discs since orig xbl died, wonder how that works...
anyway I don't use bc all that much. might have used it a lot more if morrowind goty had been supported though.
I use 360 backwards compatibility for the occasional replay of KOTOR and a couple of others. I WOULD have used it for morrowind, but f*ing MS only has orig as bc NOT goty edition.
none of MS's bc support is for the more complete version of orig xbox titles, it's really annoying. neither with a disc nor via their Xbox Originals downloadable section on XBL (I'm looking at you, Fable).
the travelling merchant mysteriously appears in Dragon Age: Origins endgame area where he has no business being. they make a joke of it though, 'Bodahn, what are you doing here?!'
my 2 faves: Shadow Complex and Symphony of the Night. what can I say, the side-scrolling map crawl style is a winner!
almost makes me wish I had a wii so I could try out Other M... *tries to keep straight face*
ah, now I see what you're saying I think. any business has to account for loss like this as a given, right? fair enough but I repeat: maybe in practice "life does not work that way"; but that doesn't mean we shouldn't work toward correcting the situation.
I don't think the industry is doomed, though. never said that.
and I agree with others here that it's a shame when anti-piracy efforts punish paying consumers. f*ing HA...
can't stand Three Dog from fallout3 myself. that's a little off-topic though since he's just annoying, not a jerk. I like hearing him sing my praise or decry my villainy - I just don't like his ret@rded jive-talk. IMHO.
sorry but what else then, Zinc? should we all be anarchists? should we not expect the fairness of compensation for our efforts? maybe in practice "life does not work that way"; but that doesn't mean we shouldn't work toward correcting the situation.
"how is that money lost to you." yes because money is the only thing that matters here, not being able to enjoy better games from a thriving dev community. /s
the little that I could understand of what you said I disagree with. jmare is right^.
1 advantage of the zune service though: you have the option to buy instead of just rent.
guess it depends on how much you watch. personally I can go thru a lot more films/tv than that so netflix quickly becomes a much better value.
yup, found myself watching lots of interesting indie & foreign films on my 360, although I'd still like to see the instant watch library updated a little more frequently... I want even more to choose from!
I suppose I agree with your points 1 and 3, based on previews and vid demonstrations I've seen so far. but where on earth are you getting #2 from? I don't see how PS3's audience is 'mixed' vs 360 as you say.
"it was intended to be an elite entertainment hub from day one"
dear god what is your point, author?? MS intended 360 to be more than just video gaming as well. you may have noticed at some point the netflix/facebook/twitter/zune/ last.fm integration on 360.
"you’d know you’ve been saving (or saved)"
'or saved' lolwut?
"tedious aspects of the console in general."
"Sony’s Achilles' heel could be that they’re too giving, and too rewarding, and that they offer too much for one console."
WHAT?! you'll notice there's no mention of price. if this isn't a price argument then wtf? how could a product ever be too rewarding for consumers??
jesus fucking christ! I can't believe I'm seeing all these comments here that are seriously debating this. debating what?! this article is incohere...
in grade school I overheard guys saying they'd never hit a girl back. I remember thinking wtf?? I'm built like peter f*ing parker before the spider bite lol so I don't go hitting dudes bigger than me it's called common sense. why should girls be exempt from such common sense just cause they have a vag? if a girl struck me I just might go ahead and knock her back. so yeah I gotta take Crossifixxo's side on this 1.
wait, so even though you've invested $ in 360 the lack of exclusives is "LMAOI!!!!" to you?? or was all your 360 equip gifted? (even so, that's pretty sh1tty to whoever gifted that to you.)
also all caps = minus bubbles.
well, that's something at least from MS. I think. I am a a bit disappointed with MS's direction of late; but I agree with jambabie69's comments here. little sony kids please get over yourself! MS still does many things right.
from the article's website, I liked this comment and mostly agree: "FPS' are all well and good but I think the future is in action RPGs like Mass Effect 2 and sandbox games, a balance of action, good story telling and free...
